You're not actually ''saving'' anyone.

First of all, sorry for the wordiness. I need to work on being more concise.

If you can't read the stamp, this is what it says:
"I don't hate homosexuals, I just want to save them from Hell!" Fuck your excuses. If that were true, you'd be respectful about it instead of acting like a bigoted asshole. Making people feel like shit about themselves won't save anyone. If you really care, preach God's love. Don't damn people on his behalf.  All you're doing is pushing people further away."

First of all, I'm not a Christian. I know, I'm sure some of you thinking "Ugh, no wonder he's so hateful!" Well, that's not what I'm trying to achieve. I don't hate Christians, or followers of any ideology for that matter. As long as you can justify your beliefs and carry them with passion, you deserve to have them. Furthermore, I'm not trying to generalize; certainly not all Christians are like this.

However, I keep seeing more and more stamps calling homosexuals "evil" or comparing them to pedophiles. People choose to justify these stamps by saying "I don't hate homosexuals, I just want to save them from Hell." Now, let me say, if that's actually your goal, then fine. Whatever. Dedicate your life to doing that, if that's what you truly care about above all else. But here's what I'm trying to get at: Don't try and use it as an excuse to be an asshole. Do you really believe that some gay guy is going to see your stamp calling his love life an "abomination" and think, "Wow, they're so right! I hereby renounce homosexuality forever! Praise Jesus!" Of course you don't. You're not looking to "help" anyone. Fuck your excuses.

If you insist on trying to change people's sexualities, at least be respectful about it. You'll have much better luck convincing them of your point of view if you're not purposely trying to offend them. That pushes people further away from you and your cause.

And don't you dare try to say "why should I be respectful? One time an atheist said x to me!". Please. You don't get to be a jerk to everyone just because someone else was to you. Grow up. Every group has its assholes. Religion isn't supposed to be a war.

I made a more concise version of this stamp here.

I'm a Christian and I try to be there for everyone, no matter if they believe in God or not. I don't force my beliefs on people. I simply show them that not all Christians are people that judge and condemn them to hell. I hate when people do that, in the Bible, it says to not curse people yet some of us Christians are doing that. They think to curse such as "saying dirty words like fuck and shit" but actually it is when you curse someone. "I hope you go to hell" "I wish you would do this" That's cursing someone. It isn't dirty words, it's literally wishing bad things on someone. That's where some Christians got that mixed up. I believe everyone has their opinions and rights, but shouldn't force it on others!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
